The Inca Trail and Machu Picchu are the most important attractions in Peru where you can enjoy the surrounding vegetation, visit ruins, and understand the time of the Incas. You can also enjoy a two hour guided tour of Machu Picchu upon our arrival there.

Itinerary

 

Day 1
We will pick you up from your hotel between 7 am and 8 am from there we will drive to the hike starting point. We will then hike for about 7 hours to Huayllabamba where we will make camp for the night.

Day 2
From Huayllabamba we will hike through the Warmiwañusca pass (4,200 m.s.n.m) and pass through the Queuña forest before arriving in Pacaymayu where we will camp for the night.

Day 3
From Pacaymayu we will begin hiking and visit the archeological site Runkurakay from there we will continue on, and also visit Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca archeological sites before arriving at Wiñayhuayna where we will camp for the night.

Day 4
From Wiñayhuayna we will hike to Inti Punku from here you will be bale to have a panoramic view of Machu Picchu. We will descend down into the city and have the whole day to explore. That afternoon we will return to Cusco by train arriving in Cusco at about 9 pm.

    - Entrance to the hot springs in Aguas Calientes ($1.50 not including sandal or bathing suit rental)

Additional Options

 

- With a student card you can get a $30.00 discount
- If you would like an extra porter to carry your belongings on the trail it will cost an extra $75.00 fort he four days.
- If you want to stay an extra night in a hotel in Aguas Calientes it will cost you $25 to $150.
